Introduction

As a preferred supplier for Roche Diagnostics Int Ltd in Rotkreuz, we are looking for an individual as

Engineer/Scientist in electrochemical method development

(contract for 12 months, with possible extension). The earliest start date is asap. Remote/Home-Office will be possible at times.

Description of the mission

  • Statistical evaluation of analytical performance data, thereby substantiating updated or new product claims
  • Troubleshooting support for verification studies
  • Root cause analysis of product performance issues
  • Update of electrochemical process parameters to guarantee analytical performance in the field
  • Improvement of electrochemical measurement methods
  • Maintenance and improvement of existing analytical tool landscape


Required profile

  • Master or PhD in a life science or engineering related discipline e.g. in electro electrochemical engineering, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, chemistry, or related fields
  • At least 2 years working experience in medical device development / Engineering
  • Proven experience in statistical analysis
  • Sound knowledge of applicable norms and standards for analytical systems
  • Proven experience in documentation within a highly regulated environment
  • Networks and partners well with experts in R&D, regulatory, quality and production to ensure a successful communication with the stakeholders
  • Knowledge in data science and experience in development of mathematical algorithms for analytical systems are considered of advantage
  • English fluent, German of advantage
