Raphael Schmid appointed CEO of Interiman Group
Interiman Group, the leading Swiss provider of personnel and recruitment services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Raphael Schmid as CEO. Drawing on his experience and past successes within the company, he says he is ready to take on new challenges to consolidate the Group’s position in the market.
Raphael Schmid joined Interiman Group in 2019 as Global Personal Partner (GPP) Sales Director for the Zurich region and Eastern Switzerland. In this role, he oversaw seven branches and two Business Units, playing a key role in strengthening teams, optimising structures and expanding the client portfolio. In January 2023, he was appointed Director of GPP, with joint responsibility for the Flexsis and Albedis brands. His appointment as CEO of Interiman Group on 1 July 2024 represents a new challenge and an important step in his career.
Consolidating the Group’s position
“My priority is to consolidate the Group’s position. Since its creation in 1998 by Raymond Knigge, Interiman Group has enjoyed uninterrupted growth. Its strategy of specialisation has enabled it to grow at a faster rate than the market. With the support of the founder, our management committee and all our teams, I will continue to build on the company’s excellence and humanist values in order to grow even further”, says Raphael Schmid.
True to the PAICA philosophy
Raphael Schmid spent his childhood and adolescence in São Paulo, Brazil. Born to a Swiss father and a Brazilian mother, he grew up in an environment that allowed him to benefit from the richness of two cultures. At the age of 19, he came to Switzerland to study at the University of St. Gallen, an experience that prepared him for the challenges of a globalised, multicultural market like Switzerland’s. He went on to set up a marketing agency specialising in golf, which he built into a major operator in the Swiss, German and Austrian markets.
